Frequently asked questions

Priority Service, 15% Discount on repairs, with our maintenance agreement you receive 2 visits every year to maintain your system
  • How often should maintenance be performed on the HVAC system?
Heating and Cooling system should be serviced at least once a year. The best scenario is to have the heating system checked in the fall or winter and the air conditioning checked in the spring or summer.
  • During the summer, why is there ice on my system?
There are many reasons why your system could have ice on it. We recommend you reach out to a professional and licensed HVAC technician to properly diagnose the issue. Call us 334-540-2876.
  • During the winter, the fan sometimes shuts off on my heat pump system outside. When it starts there is a big puff of smoke. What is wrong with it?
It is not unusual for your system to appear to steam or smoke from the outdoor coil(condensing unit) after a defrost cycle has been initiated. During extended run times, the outdoor unit will start to build up frost or ice on the coil. Your system is designed to initiate a defrost cycle when needed to defrost the ice off of your coil and ensure your system runs more efficiently.
